This website (brechtdhuyvetters.com) is operated by Brightcraft BV (trading as “Brecht Dhuyvetters Photography”), VAT BE 1023.134.323, based in Ghent, Belgium. Questions about your data? Email contact@brechtdhuyvetters.com.

Contact form: name, email address, phone number, type of shoot, event date and your message. Used solely to answer your inquiry and prepare a possible booking (pre-contractual basis, art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Brochure request: first name, email and (optionally) your wedding date — to send you the brochure and at most one follow-up (legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f GDPR). No newsletters.

Visitor statistics: only with your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) this site uses Google Analytics 4 with anonymised IP addresses. If you decline, no statistics cookies are set.

Spam protection: the contact form may be protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical browser data to prevent abuse (legitimate interest).

Hosting and security: Cloudflare. Form email delivery: Resend (US; transfers covered by standard contractual clauses). Statistics: Google Ireland Ltd (only after consent).

I never sell or rent your data to third parties.

Inquiries that don’t lead to a booking: at most 1 year. With a booking: as long as legally required for accounting (photo archive up to 5 years, as described in the FAQ). Analytics data: at most 14 months.

Necessary: one local storage value (bd-consent) remembers your cookie choice. Statistics (only after consent): Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) lasting up to 13 months. You can change your choice anytime by clearing your browser’s local storage.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time via contact@brechtdhuyvetters.com — I reply within 30 days.
