I’m Brecht, born in Kortrijk and living in Ghent. My passion for photography started young, when I was invariably “the photographer” on our family trips. Since getting my first camera as a teenager I never stopped learning — technically and artistically. Ten years on, it has grown into a craft I practise with the same enthusiasm as on day one.
Besides photography I love technology and innovation — as co-founder of a startup I keep learning every day. And when I’m not behind my camera or laptop, you’ll find me at the piano, on the volleyball court or with friends. That musical background comes in handy for concert work, by the way.

How I work
In my work I am patient, flexible and organised — you’ll feel it during a shoot. I listen carefully to your wishes and aim to capture the most beautiful, telling moments with care and a critical eye.
In post-production every image gets the attention it deserves so it truly shines. A happy client is my biggest motivation; a positive reaction to my work genuinely makes my day.
