A concert is alive: the light, the concentration, the interplay with the audience. As a photographer with a musical background — you’ll regularly find me at the piano myself — I know when the moment is coming and when to be invisible.
I work silently and discreetly, moving along the sidelines, capturing both the big stage picture and the small details: hands on strings, a glance between musicians, an audience leaning in.
